Sheltered

         Greetings from the College of St. Benedict!! Thats right folks I'm officially a Bennie :) I moved into my teeny tiny dorm on Sunday, Spent the next two days having orientation, meeting the Jonnies ;) slack lining, (It's kinda lame but addicting) listening to speakers, comedians, the very formal presidents dinner and 2 college dances. 

          Now onto why my post is called sheltered!! I'm sure most of my readers went to the same high school as me and are very familiar with how our small faith based community runs. I'm gonna warn ya college is an eye opener!! I've been made fun of for saying "jeepers", not knowing what slack lining is, graduating with only 60 kids, and not many people can not quite grasp that I've never partied!! With in my first hour here I was called un-tarnished and then sheltered. Listening to christian music, reading my devos and just prayer have been holding me together and helping me stay rooted in who I really am, and giving me the strength to share with others of who I am :) Just a Catholic girl from a small town living the dream!!

        This is all I have to express tonight but I'm making friends!! And have my second day of classes tomorrow wish me luck!!

PS. My All-Time Favorite Bible verse once again has guided me :)
